While Offseason as an entity is brand new, the story really started 16 years ago.
"Set a goal that seems unattainable" is questionable advice.
On the one hand, if it seems unattainable, it might be hard to convince yourself to put in the work to even try to reach it. On the other hand, if you have to convince yourself to put in work, any goal is likely unattainable.
I've recently become of the opinion that lofty goals are the only goals worth setting. I'm also of the opinion that you shouldn't ever set a goal if you can't reasonably explain to somebody how you plan on achieving it.
The point of this post is to tell you our lofty goals. The goals that seem somewhat unattainable.
The goal of subsequent posts, both here and on other channels, will be to explain our plan for achieving them.
Without further ado:
Our Vision
To build a $100M portfolio of profitable businesses run by good people.
Most will read that and focus on the number in the middle. We choose to focus on the two words at the end.
Our Mission
Make millionaires.
We aren't planning on doing this thing alone. We can't, nor do we want to.
Our Values
- Start somewhere.
- Do the work.
- Consistent beats lucky.
- Shoot on Saturdays.
- Effort in, cash out.
- Keep on.
We're always looking for ambitious partners. If you'd like to join us, send an email to jason@offseason.ventures.
